Renegade FC 1 - 1 Atholl FC

Game day 1 saw us take on Atholl in the first and only game of the Essex Alliance Division 1. This was a proverbial game of two halfs if ever there was one. Renegade was the stronger team in the first half and perhaps should have gone in to the break more than the 1 goal to the good. However the second half was well and truely dominated by Atholl who created the best of the chances. Atholl drew level midway in the second and was unlucky not to go and get another later in the game after a defensive error saw the ball bounce of the Renegade post and out of play by the narrowest of margins. The game ended a goal and a point a-piece.
